Interplay from the V&A 13 October 04
Sodaconstructor appears in a new publication ’Interplay Interactive Design’ by Lauren Parker of V&A Contemporary. The book addresses ’how the future of interactive design will be shaped by our physical and emotional repsonses to technology.’
Talking in Class 13 October 04
Fiddian has been invited to give a show and tell about Soda’s ethos and practice, at the University of Westminster, School of Architecture and the Built Environment.
High Energy 13 September 04
Soda saw the successful launch of their Creative Partnerships Energy project on 24th September 2004. The collaboration between Soda and the pupils and staff of Stoke Newington School
resulted in a 28 meter high light installation on the chimney of the school building, utilising research the pupils had done on energy. The LED panels on the chimney have made the school a twilight feast for the eyes (and ears if you are close enough)!
Ring of Steel 13 July 04
The new Energy Gallery at the Science Museum gets the Soda touch. Invited by CassonMann to work on the impressive 40 meter long Energy Ring, Soda created a dynamically driven display for the LED screen located inside the ring. Visitors can zap the ring with their energy related texts, watch them whizzing round under the effect of gravity and acceleration and then see them collide with other visitors contributions.
The Future’s Bristol 13 June 04
Testing of the prototype of the new software application Moovl, funded by NESTA Futurelab, takes place in Bristol and Southwark, London in June 2004.

Ed has been invited to talk at the MIT Media Lab as part of the Spring 2004 IO Consortium Meeting. He will join a panel of prestigious speakers including Prof. John Maeda, Prof Nicholas Negroponte and Prof. Mitchel Resnick.

Mechatronics in manchester 13 October 03
Soda will be exhibiting the mechatronic installation “2473.2” at Intersculpt:UK:03, between 11th - 26th October.
The exhibition will be taking place at the Museum of Science & Industry in Manchester, England.
ars friends electric 13 September 03
