C20 Screen was developed by Neal for the Lux Gallery’s second show in 1998.
Multiple electro-chromic rear view mirrors create a large sculptural uniform screen, combining components as pixels to display very low-resolution images. As the mirrors move between chemical states, the viewer is reflected in the screen - captured or dissolved as part of each passing frame.
