Energy Ring is one of Soda's Projects, profiled in July 04
In collaboration with CassonMann and Technographic Displays Soda developed the behaviour of The Energy Ring, a 40 metre long LED screen wrapped to form a ring of dynamic white light suspended in the three storey atrium of the East Hall of London’s Science Museum.
This totemic circle is both a spectacular kinematic light installation and an engaging interactive interface for visitor feedback entered on the overlooking touch-screen kiosks.
